North Oaks is a very unique private city and community. It is owned entirely by its residents, who are member owners. NOHOA is the organization that the owner's have to take responsibility for and manage:
• Roads - maintaining the 60 plus miles of roads inside the community.
• Nature - managing 500 acres of woods, several lakes, 30 miles of trails, park areas and culverts.
• Recreation Areas - operating and maintaining 5 athletic fields, 2 community buildings, a beach, 8 tennis courts, 6 pickleball courts, a 3 skating rink complex, 6 playgrounds and 4 basketball courts.
• Recreational Programs - providing soccer, baseball, ice skating, pickleball, tennis, yoga, lacrosse, paddleboarding and classes of many kinds.
• Social Events - managing annual community gatherings (Easter Egg Hunt, Summerfest, Winterfest, 75th anniversary, Newcomers, sport-specific socials).
• Community Standards/Experience - enforcing and maintaining the covenants and restrictions of the warranty deeds and declarations through our Architectural Supervisory Committee (ASC).
• Privacy - maintaining the private nature of the community.
